Des stages de roulottiers, grandeur nature, au gré des routes...!!
Depuis septembre 2018, nous proposons différentes formules afin que vous puissiez vous joindre à nous et être former par nos chevaux et nous-même ! L'idée est de proposer des stages à la semaine, où que nous soyons en France. Je suis qualifiée BPJEPS Tourisme Equestre et Sellière harnacheuse, Roanka est qualifié MATE, et nous sommes expérimentés (des années sur les routes d'Europe), nous pourrons donc vous offrir le maximum de nos connaissances.
Présentation des 3 formules : (4 personnes par stage maximum)
Suivez le rythme du voyage !
5 journées d'attelage : 15 h minimum d'attelage + 5 h de soins
1 journée de pause pour tout le monde !
Initiation possible : travail du cuir, manipulation du cheval, monte à cru, (à préciser lors de la réservation).
Stage 6 jours : ROULOTTE et DECOUVERTE DU CHEVAL
4 journées d'attelage : 3 heures d'attelage + 1 h de soins par jour = 16 h (un cours peut être ajouté le matin).
2 journées de découverte du cheval (éthologie, manipulation du cheval, monte à cru...) : 4 h de séances + 1 h de soins * 2 jours = 10 h
Stage 6 jours : ROULOTTE et SELLERIE
3 journées d'attelage : 3 heures d'attelage + 1 h de soins par jour = 12 h
3 journées d'initiation/formation au travail du cuir : 6 heures * 3 jours = 18 h
Chaque stage peut être modulable selon vos envies ou besoins.
Nous prenons entre 1 et 4 personnes par stages, afin de pouvoir vous fournir le maximum d'attention et les outils adéquats à l'apprentissage de l'attelage. Le ou les stagiaires auront à disposition quatre chevaux, deux tirant une roulotte et deux tirant un chariot. Deux poulains nous accompagnent également sur les routes.
Meals:
Lunch will be mainly picnics and evening meals will be the responsibility of the team. The team is you and us! We can cook over a wood fire or gas. We will squeeze in a little in the caravan in case of rain ;) Meals are not included in the cost of the course. We suggest you contribute 50 euros per course (organic food if we come across good markets...) You can also share your ideas on this subject :)
Overnight stays:
The wagon (with 3 beds) is at your disposal, as well as a 3-person tent. Bring your sleeping bags! The bathroom? You're lucky, we invested in solar showers! Otherwise, there's always gas if the sun isn't out. The toilets? Cornfields, bushes, forest... :)
Who are these courses for:
These driving courses in real nomadic life situations are mainly aimed at beginners or those already initiated in driving or horse riding. If you have already followed a driving course and would like to get back into the swing of things, you can join us without any problem! But also... If you are planning to go on a caravan trip, if you want to discover life on the roads with horses, if you want to take a break in your life and get out of your routine, if you want to learn something new, if you want to get your ten fingers moving (leatherwork), or simply live a new and unusual experience... these courses are for you too.
Warning! No matter your age, it is ESSENTIAL to be in good physical condition, coupled with an adventurous spirit. You may be required to walk in the rain, get in or out of the moving caravan, walk for a long time when going uphill, sleep in a tent, etc. Harnessing several hours each day is not easy!
IMPORTANT: We are itinerant, and we do not choose the locations in advance, it is done on a day-to-day basis. So anything is possible: looking for a place for more than an hour, it can happen... We venture into regions that we do not know and choose small roads on our map, but we can sometimes have surprises (lots of traffic, impassable tunnel or bridge! We then have to turn around...). It is also possible to have to hitch the horse-drawn vehicles to tractors in the event of a passage that is really too difficult for the horses, but this is rather rare... And then there are still all the unforeseen events that I am not thinking of when writing this little paragraph.... this list is therefore not exhaustive!
The price of the courses will be reduced for a person wishing to do several weeks (contact us).
Internship cancellation:
By ourselves: a course can be cancelled at the last minute in the event of a horse being injured. We could also offer to adapt the course to "sedentary" mode if a horse was unusable and had to stay on site.
By the intern: interns are not asked to pay a deposit when booking a course, so we are counting on the commitment of participants to not "let us down" at the last minute! Thank you for your understanding...
Insurance: We have Professional Civil Liability which covers our activities (internships and services), as well as any damage caused by horses or caravans. Interns are asked to come with proof of Civil Liability (thank you!). A contract will be signed at the start of the internship.
